Niku Means Meat, Jyaga Means Potato, and It’s Simmered Meat and Potato

Did you know that Nikujyaga is known as a very classic dish that you would name it when your boyfriend or partner asked what kind of dish you would cook the best? 

It's a typical trigger to have your partner be interested in you more, and consider you as a lifetime partner.

Ingredients:

4 pcs Potato

2 pcs Carrot

1 pc Onion

15-20 pcs Green bean

1 lb Beef (prefered thin sliced or shaved)

2 tbsp Sugar

3 tbsp Soy sauce

2 tbsp Sake

Instructions:

1. Cut vegetables to bite size, keep the potato into larger shape, soak in water to remove the starch

2. In a pan, stir fry the beef, add sake, sugar and soy sauce, then add onion and carrot

3. After the meat is cooked, add potato, and put an Otoshibuta, drop lid and simmer for 20-25 min

4. Boil green beans in a pot, and add it in the potato after the simmering is done
